Lions Eye Glass Program

FREE EYE EXAMS & EYE GLASS FOR AFGHANISTAN CHILDREN - 2010

The Kahmehameha Lions Club in Hawaii is preparing to send another 1,000 pairs of eye glasses to the military PRT in Panjshir Valley Afghanistan for distribution. This will be the third year for the Kamehameha Lions Club program in Afghanistan.

FREE EYE EXAMS & EYE GLASS FOR AFGHANISTAN CHILDREN - 2009

Lion Jim Bryan and Gary Bowersox will work with Afghanistan optometrists to provide OVER 5,000 children in the mountain villages of Khenj and Jegdalek with a FREE eye exam and FREE eye glasses. The glasses were collected by the Kamehameha Lions Club in Honolulu, Hawaii with the assistance of other Lions Clubs. The exams and glass distribution will take place between April 15th and April 30th.
